3 Data protection
3.1 General
The processing of data collected during visits to websites is carried out in accordance with Swiss data protection regulations.

3.2 Processing of personal data
When visiting websites, the web server stores by default the name of the visitor’s Internet service provider, the website from which the visitor is visiting the website, the Humanis AG pages accessed by the visitor, offers and the date and duration of the visit. In addition, personal data is only stored if the visitor provides it voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration, a survey or a competition.

3.3 Use and disclosure of personal data and purpose limitation
The provider uses the visitor’s personal data for the purposes of technical administration of the website, customer administration, product surveys and marketing only to the extent necessary in each case. For these purposes, the data is stored according to the visitor’s request. Data stored by the provider may also be transmitted to Humanis AG or another group company for the purposes mentioned. Personal data will only be transferred to state institutions and authorities within the framework of mandatory national legislation. Employees who gain knowledge of the visitor’s data are obliged to maintain confidentiality.

3.4 Choice
The purpose of using visitor data is to inform visitors about the services of Humanis AG and, if necessary, to ask them about them. Participation in such campaigns is voluntary. If the visitor does not agree to the aforementioned use, they can inform the provider of this at any time. The provider will arrange for the data to be blocked accordingly.

3.5 Cookies
The provider uses cookies to track visitor preferences and to optimize the design of the website. Cookies are small files that are temporarily stored on the visitor’s hard disk. The information contained in cookies facilitates navigation and enables a high degree of user-friendliness of a website. Of course, the visitor can also visit the website without cookies. The provider’s cookies do not contain any personal information, so that the visitor’s privacy remains protected. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. Visitors can find out how to change this setting using the browser’s help functions. The non-acceptance of cookies by the visitor can lead to functional restrictions of the offers available on the Humanis AG Internet pages.

3.6 Security
The provider uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the data legitimately managed by the provider or third parties against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. These security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.

3.7 Right to information
Upon request, the provider will inform the visitor in accordance with applicable law whether and what personal data is stored about him. If, despite the provider’s efforts to ensure that the data is correct and up to date, incorrect information is stored, the provider will correct this at the visitor’s request.

4 Trademarks
All trademarks of Humanis AG appearing on the website, in particular model names, logos and emblems, are subject to trademark protection.

5 License rights
The intellectual property of Humanis AG contained on the Internet pages, consisting in particular of patents, intellectual works, copyrights and trademarks etc., is protected. The use of the Internet pages does not confer any license rights to use the intellectual property of Humanis AG or third parties.

6 Forward-looking statements
Many Internet pages contain forward-looking statements (using words such as “expect”, “estimate”, “anticipate”, “intend”, etc.). The provider disclaims any intention or obligation to update these forward-looking statements.

7 Services and prices
Services and prices are non-binding and represent only an approximate description. They are subject to change and do not necessarily correspond to the information on the website. The visitor therefore receives binding information on services and prices exclusively from Humanis AG.

8 Liability

Any liability for damage of any kind caused by direct or indirect use of the Internet pages is excluded, unless the damage is attributable to intent or gross negligence on the part of the provider. The provider excludes any liability for third-party websites to which reference is made via links. In particular, the provider accepts no responsibility for their content and/or topicality.
